By using this site or booking a session, you agree to the following terms.
Note: This document is a starting template and should be reviewed by an attorney familiar with credit-services regulations and California state law before publication.
1. About the service
Credit Habit Academy provides credit education services only. The service consists of paid sessions in which credit-related information is explained and discussed for educational purposes.
We are not a credit repair organization. We do not file disputes on your behalf, contact creditors on your behalf, or perform any credit-repair services as defined under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding agreements to use this service.
3. Booking and payment
- — The session fee is $75 per session, paid at the time of booking.
- — Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
- — By paying, you confirm you understand the service is educational only.
4. Rescheduling and cancellation
- — Reschedule up to 24 hours before your session at no charge.
- — Within 24 hours of the session, or for a no-show, the session is forfeited.
5. No guarantees
We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that your credit score will improve by any specific amount or within any specific timeframe.
6. Not legal, tax, or financial advice
Information provided during sessions is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, or financial planning advice. For matters requiring such advice, consult a licensed professional.
7. Your responsibilities
- — Provide accurate information when booking and during the session
- — Only authorize credit pulls for yourself, with your own consent
- — Make your own decisions about whether and how to act on educational information
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the session.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, layouts, and any downloadable materials — is the property of Credit Habit Academy and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without permission.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, particularly in cases of abusive behavior, fraudulent payment, or requests for services we do not provide.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
